So Innocent

Our boys have been asking LOTS of questions about everything under the sun. Gavin's latest inquiry:

Gavin: Momma, how do moms know they are going to have twins?
Me: a doctor does an ultrasound on the mom's belly so that you can see inside
Gavin: Is this how the doctor can see if a mom is having a boy or girl?
Me: Yes
Gavin: It must be really hard for the doctor to tell if the baby is a boy or girl since baby girls do not have long hair yet.
Me: yep!

I have learned to answer simply and let them "figure" some things out on their own!

Finally, I'm not the only girl in the family!

We just added a little 2 lb four legged fur ball to our family. We named her Lucy (aka Lulu) and she is the smartest dog ever!!! For all of you who know our history on dogs, we are in love with her and will be keeping her forever! Isn't she adorable?

Wii Age

Ok - I just have to complain a little.... We just got a Wii fit and it told me I am 12 years older than my real age! I am 44 according to it AND to top it off Scott is 31 (younger than his real age). Of course, he is also the one who gets carded at the movies and he loves to brag about it. Anyway, we are having a blast playing on it....

Caleb lost his 1st tooth!

Caleb realized he had his 1st loose tooth on June 25th. He finally lost it on July 4th. One of the games we played was bobbin' for apples. He ate the apple and out came his tooth! He was a little freaked about the blood on the apple and also worried about the way he looked. The tooth fairy came and left him way too much money, but the 1st tooth is worth the most, right?

Scott and I celebrated our 10th Anniversary today!!! We celebrated the 4th and our anniversary by going to some friend's where we....

swam,

played games,
ate,
and popped fireworks.....
