He's Going to Heaven

Caleb told us a couple of weeks ago that he had asked God into his heart. We went and spoke with our pastor and he gave us a book for Caleb to work through. Caleb knew everything, but was terrified to walk down to the front. He does not like any attention. He will not do anything for school onstage... nothing! Finally yesterday he decided he was ready to make his decision public. We are so proud of him. Once we go home I took a picture of him. After I was done he threw his hands up in victory and yelled "I'm going to Heaven!!!" BEST. THING. EVER.

Mavs Game

Scott & I took Lyla to her first Mavs game last night. She loved it! Seriously, she did. She just sat mesmerized during the first 1/2. After the half time excitement she began fighting sleep. She just kept rubbing her eyes, but this girl does not like to miss anything. She charmed everyone around us as well as people who we passed in the arena. Old ladies, young guys, doesn't matter. They stop everytime she gives them that grin. She smiled and laughed as we left, but fell sound asleep once we drove off. Man, we love this girl!

Happy Halloween from KISS!

Well, last year my boys were embarassed to dress up and this year it was looking like they were not going to do Halloween. I was so sad. The one thing C & G wanted to be was KISS. They love the Dr. Pepper Cherry commercials with KISS on them & wanted to dress like that, but I was afraid they would not actually go through with it on the 31st. So, what better reason for Scott & I to join in the fun! We had the best Halloween ever! It was so much fun! No one knew it was actually us in the costumes. Even my dad had no idea who we were when we knocked on his door! So fun! We are already planning what to do next year!

Lyla's 5th Month

WOW! Our sweet Lyla is 5 months. Time, please slow down!!!



This month Lyla has
* started rolling from her back to her tummy
* started trying to hold her bottle
* started TRYING to eat cereal (not really good at it yet)
* started sitting in her exersaucer and loves it!
* stayed with someone other than family (thanks Mrs. Megan!)
* started grabbing at everything around her
* become the sweetest happiest baby. She loves people and smiles at everyone.

60 years young!

My mom celebrated her 60th birthday last week. She is the most amazing woman and I am blessed she is MY mom! Thank you mother for EVERYTHING you have done for us!!!



We celebrated with the entire family at dinner. All of the grandkids gave her charms for her charm bracelet. I made this cute little jewelry box to put all of the charms in.
