Lyla's 2nd Month

At 2 months Lyla is doing SOOOOO much better. The colic seems to be gone & we are so very thankful!

During this month she has:
been smiling A LOT;
had first swim;
started growing in her new baby soft hair (& hiding her baldness);
traveled to 3 new states, Lousiana, Mississippi & Alabama;
GROWN! She now weighs 9 pounds 8 ounces & meaures 23 inches long;
started talking & cooing to us.

Her brothers LOVE her. They can't seem to kiss, pat, hug & hold her enough. Today Gavin told me he thinks she is going to be a fashion model on the cover of magazines.... so cute!

Fun on the 4th

11 years ago today I married the most amazing man, my best friend, and the greatest dad on earth. We never got a picture of the 2 of us that day... oh well, I love you so much Scott!!!!

We celebrated the 4th at the Daugherty's & had fun as usual.

I just want to kiss those lips...


Christie let all of the kids tye die a shirt. They took a quick break from swimming to decorate their shirts.




Lyla's 1st 4th. Honestly, it was not the easiest of days for her. The colic was in full force, but we did find one thing that made her happy. She LOVED the water! She was so relaxed in there.
