See What I Mean?

Am I the only one who shows at 9 weeks!?! All I want to eat is fruit & candy. Not chocolate, I want jelly beans & gummy candies. NO meat for me right now and I LOVE meat. I'm sure this will pass!

Happy Halloween

Both C & G knew exactly what they wanted to be this year. They loved getting dressed in their costumes, but when it came time to go Trick-or-Treating they got nervous. One of Caleb's little friends saw him in his costume & called him "fat" and that was the end. I tried to explain that he was someone different in his costume, but he didn't care. He is already self conscious. Funny thing is he is 6 years old and barely weighs 40 lbs! Anyway, it was a little sad for Scott & I that our boys are getting too old for this holiday they have always loved! Oh well, they had fun passing out candy to other kids!

Baby Update

Yesterday we went back to the doctor and all looked good. The baby measured exactly the way it should and the twins are doing what they should. I am feeling good. We only need to get through a couple more weeks and then we will be a little safer. Thank you again for all of your prayers, emails, calls, dinner, etc. We are so blessed!

I need to take some photos of the belly to post. I am NOT one of those people who can hide a pregnancy through the first trimester. I already have a baby bump as Sam told me last night :)

Do you remember making these when you were a kid? I use to love these! This week Caleb, Gavin & I made these little fortune tellers. They were entertained for HOURS!

*Daddy is going to spank you (this one makes me laugh)

Bittersweet

I have been feeling bad for the past week, so my doctor asked me to come in today so that she could check me out. She did an ultrasound and there were no longer heartbeats on the identical twins. We did see a heartbeat on the one baby. Please pray that this baby will continue to grow. The pregnancy is still in the early stages so there is a chance that this could be better for this one baby and there is also a chance we could lose this one too.

Thank you so much for all of your sweet messages, emails, phone calls and cards. We are so blessed to have so many great friends who care about us!!!

Our Blessings

Do you know how hard it is to blog when you are keeping a secret? For the past 2 months we have been keeping a secret and it has consumed my life. Today I am coming clean....

We are pregnant! We found out about 3 weeks ago and have been trying to hide it. We did not intend to tell until November but yesterday we were shocked!

Yesterday our sonogram showed 2 heartbeats and then several minutes later a 3rd heartbeat! Triplets? We are still in shock! That word is just strange to me!

A lot of you know our history and know that we have had identical twin girls, Maci & Marli who were diagnosed with Twin-to-Twin-Transfusion Syndrome when I was 18 weeks along. We lost them at 22 weeks. Well, we have another set of identical twins inside me now along with a singleton. We are trusting that God does not plan for us to go down that road again. Anyway, we will go to a high risk doctor in 2 weeks to check everything out. Please pray that everything turns out fine and that we have a healthy LONG pregnancy.

Right now we are just enjoying the three sweet babies growing inside of me and are trying to wrap our heads around being parents of 5! I think our lives may be changing just a bit ;)
