They DO love each other!

My kids fight and tell me they do not like their brother, but secretly I know they are best friends. I caught them hiding behind the chair today. I thought they were doing something naughty, but they were just playing together so sweetly!!!

Our Thanksgiving

We spent Thanksgiving at my parents house this year along with my sister Amanda & her family & Ashlee & Belle. I thought we would NEVER eat this year! Scott, my brother-in-law decided he would fry a turkey. He bought a HUGE turkey & watched a video on youtube to learn how to do it. Anyway, we all stood out & laughed as he tried to cook it. Needless too say I was afraid to try turkey this year, I opted for the ham :)

My dad entertained the kids while we were getting everything ready. He took them on a long walk on the golf course.

Working at Heartland

I've been helping out at Heartland this week. It is so fun to have a job that you know will not last forever.... only a couple of weeks. Anyway, I've been having fun answering phones and taking orders for hams, turkeys & pumpkin rolls. I also enjoy talking with my dad & Scott in between us answering phones. If you still need a ham, last day to ship is Monday! www.heartlandham.com

BOY OR GIRL?

I read this study and I am wondering is it true for YOUR pregnancy?

"How much a mother eats at the time of conception may influence whether she gives birth to a boy or a girl, a new report shows.
The sex of a child may depend on a mother’s diet. (Paul Hilton for The New York Times)The report, from researchers at Oxford and the University of Exeter in England, is said to be the first evidence that a child’s sex is associated with a mother’s diet. Although sex is genetically determined by whether sperm from the father supplies an X or Y chromosome, it appears that a mother’s body can favor the successful development of a male or female embryo."

Breakfast is my favorite meal! I cannot skip it. It is the first thing I do in the morning, always has been. My mom says even as a baby I had to eat first thing.... guess this means I'll have all boys :) Just wondering is this true for you too?
