Another Baby Update

Someone asked me to post another update. I went back to the doctor yesterday. I got to hear the heartbeat and everything measured perfectly. Yeah! I am so thankful AND blessed to have a doctor willing to see me so often just for my peace of mind!

Just incase you are wondering....

I am one of those people who gets comments like "Are you sure you are only having one baby?" "Did they miscalculate your due date?" Do you ever listen to Kidd Kraddick when they have listners call in to the song "Get Over It?" Well, if I were brave enough, I would call in and say, "I'm pregnant, I'm big, Get over it!" HA HA just kidding! I don't take offense at all with these comments. I love my big baby belly!!!

I'm 22 weeks and I just started feeling Lyla move without lying completely still. I know, I know lots of people feel it earlier and I should since this is not my first pregnancy. My doctor says this baby has LOTS of cushioning so she would have to weigh about 1 pound before I would feel anything. I think I am finally there! I love it!

My eating habits have changed. This girl has made me like salads! If you know me you know that I do not eat salads EVER. I've never liked lettuce. Well, now I do! I crave lettuce.... I even put it on my dry sandwich AND hamburger :)

Happy 7th Birthday!

Where has the time gone? My babies turned 7 today! We celebrated at school with both of their classes (42 students) all together in one room eating cupcakes & juice. We continued the craziness that night at Chuck E. Cheese's with 30 kids. Wow! It was wild, but fun! Caleb & Gavin wanted Super Mario mushroom cakes. Aren't they perfect? We came home to open all the presents and my living room still looks like we celebrated Christmas in January. So fun!

Caleb, my ham. This one makes me laugh :)

Scott the Ref

Tuesday night the boys & I met the Dublins at a basketball game where Scott was officiating. Scott has been a referee for about 3-4 years now and he loves it! He did such a great job!!!

Caleb, Gavin, Trevor & Trenton watching half-time.... lots of kids doing tricks with basketballs. They loved it!

one of Scott's biggest fans.... Caleb

1st Grade Science Experiment

We got to do a science experiment this month for school. WOW! I do not remember having to do these big projects in 1st grade. School sure has changed! We did have fun doing the experiment. Hopefully WE made a good grade :)

Football Awards

Last weekend Caleb & Gavin received their football trophies. They were SO excited to get these trophies.... so proud!

Don't you love their red mustaches?

Our Baby

Yesterday we went to a perinatologist to have our BIG ultrasound. Scott & I were both so anxious. This pregnancy has gone so smoothly that we are just waiting to receive that bad news. I know it sounds terrible, but when you have lost 5 babies you just start "protecting" yourself. Anyway, we went in and met this new doctor who was wonderful by the way! As she started scanning me her nurse started asking me questions like how many pregnancies have you had, how far have you gone, how many surgeries have you had, etc. I wanted to scream at her "Stop talking to me so that I can see the heartbeat!!!" That is all I wanted to see... a healthy baby. I didn't care about the sex. I just wanted to know the gender so that I could answer every one's question "What are you having?" I don't see how you girls go the whole 9 months without knowing! Anyway, the nurse finally got out of the way and we were shown everything on our baby on a giant 60+? flat screen TV. I think Scott was most impressed by this :) She measured everything, showed us heart rate (145), fingers, toes, spine, brain activity, and finally..... asked us what our boys wanted. They both had told us they thought we were having a girl. Our dr. said siblings are usually right. Grandparents and parents were wrong, but siblings just knew. Caleb & Gavin were right! SHE was sitting criss-cross applesauce showing us she is a GIRL! We are so excited, but especially happy that she is HEALTHY! Now for finding a name. I think we have all 4 decided.....

Here are some photos we've been taking and I've failed to post:

This one was taken by my sweet Caleb while we were in Disney - 18 weeks.

And finally, I learned to scan! This is one of our sono pics from yesterday... her profile. Look above her nose. It almost looks like another face looking down at her. Maybe an angel looking down over her :)

Disney Trip

So we went to Disney World on Jan. 1st with the Daughertys. Christie and I sent the guys and kids home on the 7th and stayed for our Stampin' Up leadership training until the 10th. We had a great time!

Our family at the front of Magic Kingdom... notice the wheelchair on the left. This was my seat for most of the days. Scott pushed me around so that I could keep up, plus it gave me a place to sit while they were riding rides I was not allowed on.

Our first night. Waiting at Crystal Palace looking at the castle change.

Scott & me on It's a Small World... and Dwaine :)

This year we got into pin trading. Here Caleb is trading with a cast member at Hollywood Studios.

Riding Jungle Cruise...

Prince Caspian from Narnia was talking to Caleb. Caleb was not interested in any characters this year for whatever reason, so Prince Caspian was giving him a hard time.

They were so scared going in Haunted Mansion :)

Gavin lost his first tooth on Jan. 5 while we were at Animal Kingdom eating lunch. He was a little scared when he saw blood. Scott had to pretty much pull it out. The tooth fairy is great when in Disney!!!

Eating at our favorite restaurant.... Ohanas

Breakfast at Chef Mickeys

Our last day at Epcot..

Christmas Photo Shoot - that I never posted

We had Krystle from Lexi Bugs Photography take our photos for Christmas. I LOVE the ones of our boys the best. They wanted to use the one with them sitting down looking mad for Christmas and have our greeting be "We're gettin' nuttin' for Christmas!"
