Our Little Reader

I am so proud of Gavin! First of all, I have to let you know that he has always loved to have books read to him. During Kindergarten & 1st grade he has been learning to read and has done very well. On Tuesday last week my mom gave me a book for the boys, Diary of a Wimpy Kid. I didn't think much about it. Just thought I would put it on the bookshelf for later. Well, Gavin saw it and just started reading it. He took it to school and read in his free time. He read in the car. He read after school. A 217 page book and he read it all in 3-4 days! On Saturday he asked me to take him to Barnes & Noble to get another book. We went and he got another Diary book. He started reading in the store and has not stopped yet. Now if only we could get his Daddy & Caleb to read a book! Ha!

Our Week of LOVE ;)

This week we got see our newest little love in another ultrasound. She is growing perfectly. We are so thankful! She weighs in at 1 pound 6 ounces. We won't mention my weight.... let's just say it is WAY over 1.6!!! Here is an updated picture of the baby belly you all keep asking me for....

On Valentines Day Scott and I went with some friends to try out the Asian Grill in Gresham. It was really good! Then, we decided to be adventurous & go try out the BINGO HALL! None of us won, but it was an experience!

This makes Gavin so HAPPY

Gavin LOVES pencils. He also LOVES sharpening pencils. He really LOVES taking new pencils to school. He wants to give pencils to his friends for every holiday. He comes home & tells me about other kids' pencils. He gets this craziness for pencils from me. I still LOVE school supplies.... notebooks, spirals, pens, new colors, etc.

Sweet Valentine Gifts

Yesterday & today Caleb & Gavin's classes went "shopping" at school and were able to pick out gifts for family members. They were very excited about what they had picked out and loved giving it.

Caleb gave Gavin a McDonald toy, markers and color sheets. He gave his Daddy a fisbee they could play with together and he gave me a Yahooz t-shirt.

Gavin gave Caleb a parachute man. He gave his Daddy & me a goody bag with a pencil, chocolate & a pencil sharpener. He got us his favorite thing :) Have I ever mentioned how much Gavin LOVES pencils and pencil sharpeners. I need to post those photos I took.....

Our Funny Boy

Gavin has been telling us jokes lately. He seems to love making people laugh... us & his friends in school. Here are 2 of the jokes he told us:

Have you ever heard of the invisible man and invisible woman?
I bet their kids wouldn't be much to look at!

I can't. I'm still working on it!
