Lyla's 1st Month

Well, our little Lyla is 1 month old today. We are having so much fun with her. I can tell time is really going to fly this time!

So far, she has...
SCREAMED
visited the dr on day 3 weighing in at 6 lb 9 oz
CRIED
visited the dr at 2 1/2 weeks weighing in at 7 lbs 9 oz
CRIED
started sleeping for 6 hours at night
POOPED & CRIED
slept through 2 movies at the theater
CRIED
grew out of her size newborn footed pajamas ONLY - this girl is LONG!
SCREAMED
relaxed during 1 concert
CRIED & POOPED
been diagnosed with colic - Did I mention she screams, cries & poops?
CRIED
been to the chiropractor 4 times
And now she is finally RELAXING, SMILING & SLEEPING! Ahhh!!!!

I'm sure this will embarass her someday, but isn't that what parents are for? I'm not sure what is helping with the colic. I got off dairy, started eating healthier & have been taking Lyla to the chiropractor. I am not stopping any of these for fear she will start screaming again. I did try to get her one month picture yesterday and she wasn't happy about it. I think she is adorable no matter what...

Small Paul Lovers

Lyla & Daddy needed a nap this afternoon after driving around from 2:30 - 3:45 AM to stop Lyla from crying.

Guess where WE went this weekend!

JONAS BROTHERS!!!! Scott scored tickets in a suite at the new Cowboy Stadium. We were very excited to go check out the new stadium. Plus, the concert was actually good too :)

The 5 of us... Baby Lyla's 1st concert at 3 weeks. Don't worry! It was not too loud and being in a suite you do not have to walk the halls with everyone. As soon as we walked in the building we were whisked to a private elevator and never saw anyone again. We were very safe.

Not a fan of the skinny jean on boys (or the armpit hair), but they were actually pretty good. I wish I knew who was who. Maybe I should have been paying more attention to the Disney channel :)

Lyla's 1st week

Well, it has been over 7 years since we have had a newborn. We are having so much fun dressing, snuggling, and just watching her! I'm in awe that God gave us her.

Last Days of School

I had to miss the last two days of school festivities because Lyla was less than a week old. I hated not being everywhere I wanted at once, but Scott did a great job of taking photos for me. We had lots of tears on the last day. Both boys were so sad the are not going to see their friends & each has a close friend that is moving away this summer.

Caleb's group of friends - Enzo, Adam, Kenner & Caleb. They called themselves The Brotherhood because they were like brothers. So cute!


Mrs. Sudduth put this together along with Gavin's class. Isn't it sweet? This is what all the kids wrote about the new baby :)
